COMING UP: IPACS ANNUAL GENERAL CONFERENCE

More than 100 IPACS key stakeholders from governments, sports organisations and intergovernmental organisations will join next week’s Annual General Conference, which will be held on 12 September in a hybrid format at the UNODC headquarters in Vienna, Austria. The overall aims are to discuss progress, and raise awareness of and generate further support for IPACS among the key stakeholders. The two main areas to be discussed will be prevention through good governance, in the future to be addressed by a new combined Task Force; and enhancing cooperation between criminal justice authorities and sports organisations. In addition, participants will be updated on the IPACS roadmap and related communications activities.
