Jung takes Individual Eventing gold - London 2012 - Equestrian

Germany's Michael Jung added Olympic gold to the world and European titles he also holds as he confirmed his status as the leading name in Individual Eventing after a dramatic finale to the competition.

Sweden's Sara Algotsson Ostholt came second for the silver medal and another German - Sandra Auffarth - was third for bronze.

Algotsson Ostholt would have taken the gold but she agonisingly had the last fence down and that enabled Jung to triumph in the most dramatic of circumstances.

Andrew Nicholson of New Zealand - on Nereo - was fourth, while British hopeful Mary King - riding Imperial Cavalier - could only finish in fifth place.
