Training and nutrition tips with US snowboarder Arielle Gold

With a name like Arielle Gold there really was only one destiny for this 17-year-old snowboarder from the US.

After wowing the crowds at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 2012 with her gravity-defying tricks in the half-pipe and in slopestyle, which saw her claim silver medals in both events, Arielle’s career has gone from strength to strength.

Key to her success has been her commitment to training responsibly and eating well – lessons she learned off the field of play via interactive activities and workshops at the Youth Olympic Games.
