Media accreditation portal for Lausanne 2020 is open until 3 November

The 3rd edition of the Winter Youth Olympic Games will be held from 9 to 22 January 2020, with events taking place in the city of Lausanne, three cantons of Switzerland and a neighbouring region in France.

To accommodate the many requests received from the media, the accreditation portal will remain open until 3 November 2019, 23:59 CET (Central European Time).

The media wishing to cover the Winter Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020 are kindly invited to request their accreditation through the Media Registration Portal. Note that media organisations planning to register 10 or more staff are advised to contact Lausanne 2020 Media Operations at mediaops@lausanne2020.sport to request access to a group registration system. For detailed information on the accreditation process, please download the Media Accreditation Manual.

Please note that the official media accommodation in Lausanne and St Moritz will be available for booking through the Lausanne 2020 Accommodation Platform until 31 October 2019 (23:59 CET) only. Access to the platform is granted to the media once their accreditation application is approved by IOC Media Relations – please allow at least a week for the approval process. Media representatives whose applications have not been approved by 31 October, or who chose to register after this date, will be responsible for securing their own accommodation.

We also invite all media to obtain authorisation for their radio equipment operating on public and non-public frequencies for use in Switzerland during the YOG. Information on the procedure and deadlines is available on here.

Practical information about facilities and services for the media at Lausanne 2020 is available on our website.
