Great gesture of fair play for Angerer

Just before German Tobias Angerer was about to compete in the men's cross country pursuit event (15 classic and 15 free), in which he went on to win the silver medal, he suddenly missed one of his poles.

Before he could even start thinking about this misfortune, Angerer was offered a new pole by a Swiss ski technician standing nearby. Unsurprisingly, he was overwhelmed by this gesture: "This is so great. I’m absolutely grateful for this kind of fair play in the most important competition of the year," Angerer said after the race.
